MatStream users

To protect the product data in the database, a permission structure is provided in MatStream. You can set the permissions for user group. You can give users certain permissions, by making them member of user groups. It is not possible to set permissions per user.

Select User management from the Extra menu of the MatStream application where you want to add the user or user group. The Users window will be displayed.

Each MatStream application has its own permission structure. When you add a user to MatStream Product Information Center, then this user will not automatically be added to MatStream Bill Of Materials.

The users window consist of three tabs

• Users & passwords
  At this tab you can manage the user accounts.
• Groups & members
  At this tab you can manage make users member of a group.
• Groups & permissions
  At this tab you can manage the groups accounts and set the permissions.
