Add a supplier to a product

This help page is related to the Supplier tab of the Product data window.
Select Properties from the toolbar to display the Product data window.

Follow the next steps to attach a supplier to a product.
 

1. Select the Add supplier button. A new window with available suppliers will displayed.
2. Select the supplier that you want to add from the list. If the supplier you want to add does not exist in the list, then you can add a supplier to the database.
3. Select the Select button at the right bottom of the window. Now you will return to the supplier tab of the product data window. The supplier you selected from the list, is now added to the supplier list of the product.
4. You may enter some supplier specific product data and select Apply to save the changes.

Setting a default supplier

When you attach more then one supplier to a product, then you can change the default supplier.

1. Double click in the "Default" column of the supplier that you want to be the default supplier.
2. The icon jumps to the supplier indicating the default supplier. After one second the default supplier moves to the top of the list.
