Select Properties from the toolbar to display the Product data
window.
With series we mean a product group, that represents a specified number of
type numbers.
Often series share the same documentation for all the type numbers it
represents. It is much more organized and much better to maintain when you add
series to the database (if possible) and not all separate type numbers.
When series are linked to a row with a type number in MatStream Bill Of Materials, then MatStream will recognize this type number as one of that series the next time. So that when using this type number again in a bill of materials, then will MatStream link it to the appropriate documentation.
The series/type number must be unique in the database, so you can only add one product with a certain series or type number.
