Open or print a linked document

This help page is related to the Documents tab of the Product data window.
Select Properties from the toolbar to display the Product data window.

When you want to open or print an attached document, then an application must be installed on your system, that can handle that file format. For instance when an MS Word document is attached, then MS Word must be installed to print or open it.

Open an attached document

• Select the document that you want to open by clicking on its record selector.

• Stay with you mouse pointer on the record selector, and press the right mouse button. A popup menu will be displayed.
• Select Open from the popup menu.
• Or double click on the record selector of the document (only for opening the document not for printing).

Printing an attached document

• Select the document that you want to print
• Stay with you mouse pointer on the record selector, and press the right mouse button. A popup menu will be displayed.
• Select Print from the popup menu. The document will be printed now in the back ground by the application that is linked to this file format in Windows.
