Configure PIC for a netwerk

If you have registered your version, you can use MatStream Product Information Center on your intra-network. This way you centralize the database files and the linked documents, so that these are accessible to all MatStream users.

Pass through the following steps to set up MatStream PIC for network use:

1. Set the network structure as described in Configure MatStream for network use.
2. Select Options in the menu Extra  
   • Select the tab Files
   • Select at 'Templates' the directory that you copied as template directory for this purpose. In the example 'P:\MatStrm\Template' 
   • Select at 'Documentation' the direcory that you copied as document directory for this purpose. In the example 'P:\MatStrm\Document' 
   • Select the tab Database
   • Select at Database file the data directory, this is where the copied database files are located. In the example this is 'P:\MatStrm'
     

If you also want to share the MatStream Bill of Materials with other colleagues within your network, you should register and configure these separately.
