Searching products

The most important function of MatStream Product Information Center, is the searching for products in the product database. By setting search criteria, we can reduce the search result. There are two kinds of search criteria that can be set.

• Main Search Criteria
  The general and most used search criteria. Herewith you can filter the data on serial/type number, description, brand, material or connection.
• Detailed Search Criteria
  The detailed search criteria, filters the data on custom properties of the product (zie Properties).
  These are for example maximum temperature, maximum pressure, color, weight, certificate number, etc..

After typing the criteria, press <enter> or click on the Search button in the toolbar, to display the search results.

Remark
If Automatic Search is selected in the View menu, the program will start the search immediately after changing the selection criteria.
