Main window

After logging in to MatStream Product Information Center, the main window is displayed.

From within this main window you can do the following things:

• Search for products, based on search criteria.
  By setting search criteria, you can filter the search results.
• Display product data, properties and documentation.
  Viewing de product data and the attached documentation.
• Adding new product groups to PIC.
  You can add new products to PIC in several different. You can copy an existing product (clone), import products from an other MatStream product database, or create a new product from scratch.
• Deleting products from the database.
  Products that are removed from the search result, are placed in the MatStream waste bin. The products that are placed in the waste bin can be deleted of recovered.
• Dragging or copying products to other applications.
  The product information can be used in other application, by dragging or copying the selected product to the other application.
• Displaying supplier data.
  The suppliers, attached to the products, are also accessible from the main window. You can edit view or create new suppliers.
• Creating user groups and accounts and setting permissions.
  Before a new user can access the MatStream, he must have a user account. It is also possible to add a password and set permissions. This is not applicable for the shareware version.
