Product Information Center introduction

MatStream Product Information Center (PIC) is the product information manager. With Product Information Center you can add product (groups) to the product database, and you can search product by means of search criteria. 

The following types of product data can be saved:

• General product data
  Series/type number, description, brand, material, connection.
• Product properties
  Almost every thing that you may find important for the selection of a product. for instance Ex-certificate nr., weight, Cv value, color, etc.
• Supplier data
  More then one supplier, with its specific product data like order number, price, discount, etc. can be added to a product (group).
• Documentation
  You can attach electronic documents like drawings, manuals , mounting instructions, etc.
• General  remarks

By means of a permission structure you can authorize user groups for adding, removing and editing the products in the database. When PIC is used in a multi user environment, then it is highly recommended to do this. When product are added and edited by a select group op persons, then you will get an unambiguous product database. This will enhance the search ability for all PIC users.
