Configure BOM for a network

If you wish to share the MatStream Bill of Materials within your network with your colleagues, MatStream Product Information Center must be shared too. Only one product information database can be linked to the bill of materials database so the bill of materials database must be accessible for all MatStream users.

Go through the following steps to setting up MatStream PIC for use on your network:

1. Create a directory structure as described in Configure MatStream for use on a network.
2. Select Options from the Extra menu
3. Select the Files tab
   Select at 'Templates' the directory where the templates for export features are located. In the example from 'Configure MatStream for use on a network',  this is 'P:\Template'
4. Select the Database tab
   Select at Database file the data directory. This is  the directory where the copied database files are located. In the example from 'Configure MatStream for use on a network',  this is 'P:\MatStrm'
