To every item in the bill of materials you can attach documents. It is
possible to automatically print these documents, in order to create a manual of
the items that are part of the bill of materials.

When an item in your bill of materials is linked to a product from Product
Information Center, then also the attached documents of this product will be
added to the list. These inherited documents are colored light grey in the list.
It is not possible to remove
these documents from the list, unless you remove them from the product. It is
possible to disable these documents for automatic
printing and/or export.
