MatStream Bill Of Materials (BOM) is a database driven bill of materials manager. With BOM you can generate bills of materials quickly and automatically print the attached documentation.
Every item with a type number that is added to a bill of materials, will be recognized automatically the next time this type number is used in an other bill of materials. With this recognition, all the attached product data and documentation from Product Information Center will be linked to the item in bill of materials. The recognition will be extended on every new type number added to the bill of materials database. Within a few months will a large amount of type number automatically be recognized when they are entered into a new bill of materials.
The automatic type number recognition also works when an existing bills of materials from a spreadsheet application is copied into a MatStream bill of materials. MatStream will analyze every item copied and try to find the type number in its database.
