Column format section

Select Column properties from the Edit menu. The column data window will be displayed.

The column format section consist of three parts which determines on how the column must be displayed.
 

  1. Column header
    The column header is the text above the column. The column header is displayed in your bill of materials, the print out and possibly on the documentation coversheets. The maximum length for a column header is 50 characters.
  2. Column width
    When you change the value of this field, the column width will change in your bill of materials. You can also change the column width, by moving with your mouse the dividing line between two column headers.
     
    When your mouse pointer is on a column header and you select the right mouse button, then a popup menu will be displayed. Select Adjust column width to text when you want to column width to be adjusted to the largest text in that column.
