Adding columns

Adding a column

  1. Select a column in your bill of materials, by clicking on the column header.
  2. Select Insert column from the Edit menu. A new column will be inserted after the column you selected.

A window is displayed with the new column properties. By default the data type of the new column is set at "Quantity". See Displaying column properties for more information on how to change the data type of the column.

There are two limitation when you  add a column

  1. Only one column with type number can be added per bill of materials.
  2. Only one column with quantity total can be added per bill of materials.
