Save a bill of materials

A bill of materials will be saved in a database. It is not saved as a separate file on your hard disk or network drive. When you want to send the bill of materials, you could export it. With the export of a bill of materials, is it possible to include all product data and attached documentation. See for more information exporting bills of materials.

Saving the bill of materials:

• Select Save from the File menu.
• Create if you want a new project mat in the database, by selecting New project from the toolbar.
• Select the project map, by clicking it with your mouse. It is not necessary to really open the map. If the project map is still empty, is it not even possible to open it.
• Give a new name for your bill of materials in the field Document name and select the Save button. Your bill of materials will be saved in the selected project map.
