Select how to insert

When you copy or drag a product from Product Information Center to a not empty row in your bill of materials, you will get the following possibilities:
 

• Add the new item to this bill of materials.
  The dragged or copied product will be inserted as a new row. The row where you have dragged it to, will remain unchanged.
• Overwrite the selected item in this bill of materials.
  The row where you have dragged or copied the product to will be replaced with the new product data.
• Link the selected item of this bill of materials to the copied product.
  The row where you have dragged or copied the product to will be linked to the product in PIC. For the cell data that do not match the corresponding data in PIC, you will get the question to change them or not.
  By linking an existing row to a product, you create a sub type number. When this type number will be used in an other bill of materials, MatStream will recognize it and automatically links it to the product in PIC
