Add rows

You can add rows (items) to your bill of materials through:

• Typing the data
  At the moment you add a type number to the bill of materials, will MatStream search for this type number in previous bills of materials. When MatStream compares the type numbers, it will neglect the following characters: . / \ -  
• Drag or copy a product from Product Information Center
  When you drag or copy a product from Product Information Center to your bill of materials, then all product data and attached documents are linked to the item. See Linking a row to a product group for more information on how to link a product to a bill of materials item.
• Copying data from other applications
  When you copy data from a spreadsheet application, will MatStream try to recognize the data entered in the type number column. If the data is recognized as a known type number, then MatStream will link this row the product group. All the copied data will remain as it is copied, only the lacking data will be completed with the data of previous bills of materials.
