Bills of materials

A bill of materials is the primary document in MatStream Bill Of Materials. The bills of materials are saved in a database file (matlist.mdb). You can not find the bill of materials in a separate file on you hard disk or network drive.

Because the bills of materials are saved in a database, is it now possible to make use of all the data that have been entered in other bills of materials. All this data makes it possible to recognize a type number, link it to the proper product group in PIC and complete the missing data on the row of your bill of materials. The more items added to the bill of materials, the more type numbers will be recognized.
