Format tab

Select Options from the Extra menu. The Options window will be displayed. Select the Format tab.

At the Format tab you can change the appearance of the bill of materials on your screen. Different product links are possible and each type of link has its own display color.

• Font size and name
  The font type and size that is used for the bill of materials you see on your screen is also used for the printout. The font is changeable when there is a default printer installed. All the true type fonts that your default printer support can be selected. The maximum font size is 78 pixels
  
• Link type color
  There are four different kind of link types. Depending on your personal preference, you can change the color of each link type. 
  Double click on the colored rectangle. A color dialog window will be displayed. Select the color you want for that particular link and select the Ok button.
  
  There are four link types possible:
  1. Item is not linked to Product Information Center
     This item has no link with a product group of MatStream Product Information Center. This is typical for an item that has been entered in the bill of materials and not been recognized.
  2. Unlinked item with documentation.
     This link is the same as previous link, but now there are files attached to the item. Files can also be attached to an item, without having a link to a product in Product Information Center.
  3. Linked item (type number has exact match).
     This item has a link to a product group of MatStream Product Information Center and the type number has an exact match with the type number of the product group. This link is typical for a dragged or copied product from PIC to the bill of materials.
     All product properties, documentation etc. are available for this item in the bill of materials.
  4. Linked item. (type number does not match exactly)
     This link is the same as previous, with the difference that the type number is not an exact match with the product group type number. This is typical for sub type number, a type number that is a member of a product group.
     All product properties, documentation etc. are available for this item in the bill of materials.

These settings are saved locally on your pc. They will not apply to other users of MatStream.
