Registration of MatStream

You can register MatStream, which makes it possible to share the database and the data it contains with colleagues within your network.

MatStream is based on so called "floating licenses".
A floating license means that you don't have to register MatStream for every pc, but only for a maximum number concurrent connections to the database. You may install MatStream on every pc in your network, but if you have four licenses registered then only four of them can login.

MatStream consist of two applications:

You have to register each application separate. It is not necessary to have the same amount of licenses for each application. You may decide to register four licenses of Product Information Center and eight licenses for Bill Of Materials. 

When you want to register Bill Of Materials, you must at least have one license for Product Information Center. It is not possible to use the shareware version of Product Information Center with a registered version of Bill Of Materials. On the other hand, a registered version of PIC with a shareware version of Bill Of Materials is possible.

Follow the next steps to request a registration number and to register the MatStream application.

  1. You can request the registration data on our internet site: http://www.pmsoftware.nl , or you can ask your software supplier to handle this.
     
    After license fee is transferred to our bank account, the license name and number will be sent to you by e-mail within the next 24 hours.
  2. Registering the application
    Open the registration window, by clicking the register now! button of the login window (on startup).
     
    Fill in the registration name and number. Note that both fields are case sensitive.
    Select the Register button.
    After registration you can set the application up for use on a network and you can create user accounts.
     
    If the register button is not visible on the login window, then the application is already registered.

You can see in the About window for how many licenses MatStream is registered and to which company it is registered.
The About window can be displayed by selecting About MatStream... from the Help menu.
